Military Grant Project Highlighted in USC Article
Through a project called "Building Capacity in Military-Connected Schools," SDSU school counseling graduate students and professors are working to create sustainable models of supporting military families in K-12 schools. One way this project is helping school counselors, administrators, and other educators is by publishing several books intended to "empower staff, students and parents to use evidence-based practices to improve school climate for students from military families" (Meinert, 2012).
